Some of the most important poojas and vazhipads done here are

1001 Kudam Dhara

1001 Kudam Dhara is done only in few temples in Kerala. In this temple this is performed once in a day in the morning and that too in the name of one person only. On Pradosham and Sivarathri days this is performed in the evening also. It is seen that there is heavy rush for registering names to offer this vazhipad. In order to get suitable days for the devotees for conducting it, the devotees are required to register the names well in advance.

Baneshi Pooja or Baneshi Homam

This is also rarely done in the temples in Kerala. This is done to overcome astrologically found obstacles in getting married or to eradicate problems in married life. In this case also it is necessary to register the names well in advance to get suitable days.

Uma Maheswara Pooja

This is also a very important pooja done in this temple.
